The Venue and Parking

Harrogate International Centre is fully accessible for wheelchair users and visitors with other mobility problems. Free Blue Badge parking is available in the onsite underground car park, with further Blue Badge parking available in the nearby Jubilee Car Park.

Every effort is made to ensure that all halls are fully accessible, including ample space between all aisles and access areas. However, all halls can be expected to get very crowded during peak times and, as such, may not be suitable for those who find crowds or enclosed spaces distressing.

Tickets and Wristbands

Attendees with disabilities may purchase and use any ticket option available, including standard, early bird or VIP entry. Disabled attendees who feel that they are unable to manage independently will be given free entry for one helper to assist them throughout the day. If you require the use of this service, please tell a member of the crew upon entering the event. Please be aware that you may be required to present proof of disability. To avoid any potential problems or holdups, we advise making us aware in advance using the form below.

In addition to a standard wristband, attendees with disabilities will be issued a priority access wristband. This grants access to the priority queuing and seating systems that we have in place and also makes crew members aware that you may require additional assistance. You do not have to wear this wristband if you do not wish, but please be aware that it will be necessary if you wish to make use of the priority queuing or seating systems.

Queuing and Entry

Fanatic Expo offers priority entry to disabled attendees who:

  • Require the use of a wheelchair or crutches
  • Have a disability which means they are unable to stand unaided for an extended period of time
  • Do not understand the concept of queuing
  • May become distressed or agitated if they have to wait for an extended period of time

Please be aware that attendees making use of this service are only entitled to bring one helper with them. The rest of the party is not eligible unless they are all under the age of 14 and would otherwise be unaccompanied.

Guide Dogs and Service Dogs

Service dogs are welcome at Fanatic Expo, though you should contact the venue in advance so they can make sure that your animal is catered for. You can contact the Harrogate International Centre reception team on 01423 500500.

Medical Assistance and Quiet Spaces

Fully trained first aiders will be on site throughout the event should you experience any difficulties. If you require any medical assistance, please notify a crew member who will be able to get someone to attend to you.

A quiet space is also available near the main first aid station should you require it. This area will be marked on the site map once it becomes available, or you can ask a crew member for assistance on the day.

Please note that this scheme is for attendees with disabilities only and priority access is only available with proof of disability. If you have any questions before registering, please contact

Once your registration has been submitted, you do not need to take any further action. We will get in touch on the email address provided if there are any problems with your registration. To get priority access on the day, please let a member of the crew know that you have already registered on arrival and they will be able to issue your priority access wristband.
